The Downpour Part IV. BY Christian Stops

I gotta say I feel a bit like a cheat shooting the rain and people wrestling with it from the comfort of a dry spot right next to a shop window. I’m also starting to worry that being in obviously the same location for these images might begin to get boring. The shots themselves I really do like and that’s why I think it’s okay to go ahead and publish them. It’s rare for me to be out in that sort of weather and that does make the images special to me. Like I mentioned in the post prior to this, my power chair wouldn’t have liked to be in this kind of downpour. My camera/lens combo I was using (Olympus OM-D E-M5 Mk.II and Olympus M.Zuiko 12-50/f3.5-6.3) on the other hand was weather-sealed. I guess I’m going to save me some money next time around when I buy a new camera, skipping the weather-sealing!

Another great capture in this series of shots from that rainy day.
Great the way you caught the woman holding the umbrella for maximum protection…so palpable!
